First appearing as a publisher in 1962, the line lasted for over 20 years until it's demise in 1984. During the 1960s and 1970s, Gold Key was publishing a lot of licensed titles based on popular television shows of the time - one of their longest running titles being Star Trek. However, they also published their own line of super hero and science fiction titles to compete with the likes of DC and Marvel. Listed below are reprints of titles currently available from Amazon of titles originally published by Gold Key. |
Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery - Featuring the actor who was made famous as the Frankenstein monster in the classic James Whale movie, this collection reprints issues 1-4 of the Gold Key anthology series (which has Karloff as the host of each tale)
